What you can do.

Your listing

A free listing, live straight away
Up to 6 photos, your name, category, description and suburb, phone, WhatsApp, email and website, opening hours, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube, and tags people filter by: Nepali Staff, Parking, Walk-in OK and Appointment Required.
Chaana Verified
Enter your 11-digit ABN. A Chaana admin checks it by hand on the ABN Lookup site and switches on the Chaana Verified shield. There is no charge. It confirms your ABN; it is not a quality rating.
Address privacy
"Show street address publicly" is off by default. Customers see your suburb and state, and your map pin is moved 150 to 300 metres, until you switch it on.
Opening hours
Set each day's open and close time in 30-minute steps, mark days closed, or copy Monday to every day. Your card then shows open or closed live.
Branches
Add Another Location copies your name, category, description, website, socials and tags. You add the branch's own address, phone, hours, photos and a label like "Parramatta", and choose which one is the main branch.
Claim a listing that is yours
If someone else listed your business, open it, tap Claim this business and explain why you are the owner. A Chaana admin reviews it and transfers ownership to you.

What customers see

Menu, Catalog or Services
A restaurant gets a Menu tab, a shop a Catalog, everyone else Services. Add items in sections with a description, a price and an optional tag like Popular. There is no item limit.
Specials
A title, badge, description, coupon code and optional end date. Your listing counts down ("Ends in 3 days"), and customers tap to see "Mention this at the business" with your code.
Reviews
Members leave 1 to 5 stars with a written review, one each. Your page shows the Community rating out of 5 and how many reviews it is based on, and you get an in-app notification for every new review.
Followers and loves
Members can follow you or save you. Your page shows how many people love it and a few follower avatars, and followers get an in-app notification whenever you add a new item or special.

Growing and measuring

Views & Contacts
Your owner card shows loves, follows, views, calls and messages. Performance for each listing shows views, contacts, saves and shares, and how people reach out.
Analytics on the web dashboard
Totals for every listing, followers, charts over 7, 30 or 90 days, and a private Bronze, Silver or Gold tier earned from reviews, rating and followers. Tiers are never sold.
Banner maker
Pick a template (square, portrait, story or landscape), fill in your text, then share it or save it to Photos for your own social media.
A reviews widget for your website
Copy a snippet from Edit Business on the web dashboard and paste it on your own site. It shows your logo, name, star rating and review count, and updates every 5 minutes.
Featured, if you want it
Seven days at the top of a suburb, or a whole state, with a gold Featured badge, in the Sponsored rail and in Featured This Week on the app's Home screen. From a few dollars a week, shown before you pay.

How it works.

How to list your business

  1. Create a free Chaana account. On the website, choose the Business owner account type.
  2. Tap + on the Business tab in the app, or add a business from the web dashboard.
  3. Add up to 6 photos, your business name, category and description.
  4. Enter your suburb and street, and decide whether to show the street address.
  5. Add your phone, WhatsApp, email, website, opening hours, socials and tags.
  6. Enter your ABN if you would like the free Chaana Verified check.
  7. Save. Your listing is live straight away. Add your menu and specials from Profile, My Listings.

How to claim a business that is already listed

  1. Open the listing in the Chaana app.
  2. Tap Claim this business.
  3. Explain why you are the owner, and add a phone number if you like.
  4. A Chaana admin reviews the claim and, if it checks out, transfers the listing to you.

How to manage it on the web dashboard

  1. Sign in at chaana.com.au/login with your Chaana account.
  2. Open your business to edit the details, photos and opening hours.
  3. Open Analytics to see views, contacts and followers over 7, 30 or 90 days.
  4. Open Banners to make an image for your social media.
  5. On Edit Business, copy the reviews widget snippet for your website.
  6. Open Featured to see the current price and feature your listing.

How you are protected.

The safety rules and limits, stated plainly.

  • Listing is free. The only paid option is Featured, and Featured listings are always labelled.

  • Your street address stays hidden until you choose to show it, and your personal phone only appears if you enter it as the business phone.

  • Chaana Verified and the Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers are earned, never sold.

  • Each member can leave one review of your business. A second review from the same person edits the first.

  • Up to 2 new business listings per person per day. Three safety reports hide a listing until the Chaana team reviews it; an upheld report removes it and gives the owner a strike.

  • If Chaana hides your listing by mistake while it is Featured, your Featured time is extended by the time it was hidden.

How do I list my business on Chaana?

Tap + on the Business tab in the app, or use the web dashboard. Add up to 6 photos, a category, description, suburb, contact details, opening hours, socials and tags; it goes live straight away and is free.

Is listing a business on Chaana free?

Yes. Listing, editing, your menu, specials, branches, the banner maker and the reviews widget cost nothing. The only paid option is Featured, a 7-day placement priced from a few dollars a week and shown before you pay.

How do I get the Chaana Verified badge?

Enter your 11-digit ABN on your listing. A Chaana admin checks it by hand on the ABN Lookup site and switches the badge on, at no charge.

Someone else listed my business. What do I do?

Open the listing, tap "Claim this business" and explain why you are the owner. An admin reviews it and transfers ownership to you.

Can I get more customers without paying?

Yes. Add your menu or services and specials, keep your hours up to date, and ask customers to follow and review you. Followers are notified automatically when you add a new item or special.

Can I see how my listing is doing?

Yes. Performance shows views, contacts, saves and shares for each listing, and Views & Contacts shows totals across all your listings. The web dashboard adds charts over 7, 30 or 90 days.

Can I show my Chaana reviews on my own website?

Yes. Copy the reviews widget snippet from Edit Business on the web dashboard and paste it into your site. It shows your name, star rating and review count, and updates every 5 minutes.

Can customers book appointments with my business through Chaana?

No. Chaana has no booking system for businesses. Customers contact you by Call, Text message, WhatsApp, Email or your website.
